FOLKS is an inclusive dance performance, the result of a long process of creative exploration and collaboration between InForm – Platform for Inclusive Minds (Georgia) and SZENE 2WEI (Germany).
When chaos, tension, and uncertainty surround us, when internal fears and external dangers feel unbeatable, and when loneliness and fragility evoke a constant desire to escape—there exist spaces that protect us, and spaces we protect. These are the places where people who care for us, and whom we care for, come together.
FOLKS is a journey of our search for and creation of protected territories, where people, who may seem like strangers at first, who do not know one another, find each other through movement, sound and stories. By strengthening each other, through solidarity and care, they confront an uncertain, ever-changing reality.
